Eurostar trains
Upon booking, clients can select their preferred seat from Eurostar’s seating plan. Our seating plan provides the onboard location of tables, toilets and the Eurostar Café, allowing customers to choose their seats accordingly. Please note that the seat selection option is only valid on routes to/from London.
e320 train
Our e320 trains have:
- A top speed of 320km/h
- 894 seats, nearly 20% more than our original trains, in 16 coaches
- Each train is 400m long. In fact, our e320s are so long that the engineers in our depot use bicycles to get from one end to the other
- Free wi-fi throughout
- UK and EU plug sockets at every seat
- Eurostar Café, our onboard bar buffet
- Additional wheelchair facilities and wheelchair lifts
- Extra space for luggage
- Information screens in every coach
e300 Train
Our e300s trains have:
- A top speed of 300km/h
- Dedicated Eurostar Plus and Eurostar Premier coaches in the middle of the train, unlike our e320 trains, where they are located at the front and back
Seats
Seats are allocated at the time of booking, but please note customers can change their seat at any time, until they pass through the gates. To do this, go to “Manage your booking” at eurostar.com or via our mobile app.
Wheelchair users
Our Eurostar Plus and Eurostar Premier coaches have dedicated spaces for wheelchair users. Companion tickets are also available at a discounted rate, and will be seated next to the wheelchair user.

Each classic train has:
- A top speed of 300km/h
- 371 seats, in 8 coaches
- Free wi-fi throughout the train
- Continental sockets at every seat
- Eurostar Café, our onboard bar buffet
- Additional wheelchair facilities and wheelchair lifts
- Extra space for luggage
Ruby trains: refurbished trains
Each Ruby train has:
- A top speed of 300km/h
- 399 seats – nearly 8% more than our classic trains, in 8 coaches.
- Free wi-fi throughout the train
- Continental sockets at every seat
- Eurostar Café, our onboard bar buffet
- Additional wheelchair facilities and wheelchair access ramps
- Extra space for luggage
- Information screens in every coach
Seats allocation
Seats are allocated at the time of booking. Customers cannot choose or modify their seats on our classic and Ruby trains.
Accessible travel
Our Eurostar Premier coaches have dedicated spaces for wheelchair users at the price of a Standard ticket. Companion tickets are also available at a discounted rate, and will be seated next to the wheelchair user.
