Eurostar New Commercial Offer: Everything you need to know
Travel plans can change quickly; you know it and so do we. That’s why, on the 23 April 2024, we’re launching a new, harmonised public offer, giving customers more freedom than ever before. With an extended network of connections, greater ticket flexibility and more, we’re making the next step in our journey a big one. Ready to join us?
Flexible fares
We want to make train travel a no-brainer. So we’ve made sure Eurostar is one of the most flexible ways to travel around Europe.
For new bookings in Standard, Standard Premier and Comfort:
- Tickets now include unlimited exchanges with no fee up to one hour before departure. Payment of fare difference applies, and there is no refund should the new fare be less expensive.
- Tickets can now be refunded up to 7 days before travel for a fee of €/£25. Any tickets which are exchanged within 7 days of travel become non-refundable for future after-sales.
For existing bookings made before the 23 April, there’s no change to ticket conditions. If an existing booking is exchanged, our new more flexible conditions will apply.
For Business Premier and Premium tickets, there are no changes to ticket conditions until the 4 November 2024.
New travel classes
We’re always looking to give the best possible customer service across our entire network, whether we’re getting passengers to a family holiday in Paris or that all-important meeting. That’s why we’re introducing three reinvented classes on board all our trains for travel from 4 November 2024: Eurostar Standard, Eurostar Plus and Eurostar Premier.
Eurostar Standard:
The fast and flexible way to travel from city-centre to city-centre across Europe. Features include:
- Exchange with no fee up to 1 hour before departure
- Refundable up to 7 days pre-departure for €/£25
- 2 pieces of luggage + 1 small daypack/handbag
- Drinks, meals and snacks available to purchase on board
- Free onboard wi-fi
- Plug sockets at every seat
- Earn Club Eurostar points
Eurostar Plus:
Extra space and comfort to relax or work on the move. Features include:
- Exchange with no fee up to 1 hour pre-departure
- Refundable up to 7 days pre-departure for €/£25
- 2 pieces of luggage + 1 small daypack/handbag
- Extra spacious seats
- Drinks, meals and snacks available to purchase on board (Continental routes)
- Light meal served at the seat (London routes)
- Free onboard wi-fi
- Plug sockets at every seat
- Earn Club Eurostar points
Eurostar Premier:
Our signature Eurostar experience for business and leisure. Features include;
- Exchangeable and refundable with no fee up to 48 hours after the original departure*
- Exclusive lounge access
- Extra spacious seats
- Gourmet meal served at the seat
- 3 pieces of luggage + 1 small daypack/handbag
- Free onboard wi-fi
- Earn Club Eurostar points
- Boarding guarantee**
*Payment of fare difference applies, and there is no refund should the new fare be less expensive.
**Customers can exchange on the day of departure to travel at a different time without paying a fee or fare difference. Customers can choose to travel on any train with availability in any class. There is no guarantee of availability in Eurostar Premier.
The freedom to go further
Getting from A to B should be simple and hassle-free across our whole network. That’s why from now on, all our tickets will be released at the same time, rather than some being available earlier than others. This way, customers can glide between Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom— no calendar checks necessary.
The average booking horizon is now 7 months.
Key dates
Some changes are in place from the 23 April:
- New flexible fare conditions on Standard, Standard Premier and Comfort bookings
We’ll be introducing more changes later on in the year:
- The new travel classes will come into effect across our network for travel from the 4 November
- The updated fare conditions for Business Premier and Premium bookings will come into effect for travel from the 4 November, when these classes become Eurostar Premier.
- The Eurostar Premier boarding guarantee applies to travel from the 4 November.
- We’re revising our on-board menus, with a refreshed catering offer being launched alongside the new travel classes.
A note on Club Eurostar
There’s no change to how customers earn and spend points as Club Eurostar members.
