Administrator Procedures
Administrators are responsible for adding email addresses through the secure Eurostar for Business portal. This portal is designed to collect only email addresses, ensuring minimal data exposure. The collected email addresses are stored in a hashed and encrypted format within our database, adhering to stringent security protocols.
To maintain data integrity and security, the database is thoroughly cleaned post-event, ensuring that all event-specific data is promptly and securely erased.
Attendee/Employee Registration
Attendees and employees who wish to benefit from discounted fares are required to register at Club Eurostar. During the account creation process, users are asked to provide their name, surname, and email address, similar to the procedure for any other standard customer.
At any time, a Club Eurostar account can be deleted, providing users with full control over their personal data.
Data Protection and Compliance
In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), all personal data is encrypted within our database. We utilize the Amazon Web Services Key Management System (AWS KMS) to safeguard our application data, ensuring robust protection and management of encryption keys.
