Connecting train sets on routes to/from Brussels
More information about our pricing on routes to/from Brussels. This applies to travel between Brussels and France, Germany and the Netherlands.
Conveniently located at the heart of our network, many Eurostar services run to, from or via Brussels Midi. To optimise our operations, we use connecting train sets on certain routes, such as between Paris and Brussels or between Brussels and Amsterdam.
This means a service from Paris to Brussels may consist of two connected train sets, with one detaching on arrival to Brussels and continuing onward to Germany, for example.
When a service operates with connecting train sets, both trains are managed and priced individually in our system. This is why you may see two different train numbers with different prices for the same departure time in your booking tool.
Please feel free to share this information internally should it be useful to colleagues booking travel to/from Brussels.
