Launch of connecting TGV products
We’ve recently changed the way we sell connecting TGV products. Previously, both legs of a Eurostar connecting journey were subject to the Eurostar ticket conditions. Since 12th March, for all Eurostar bookings including a connection with SNCF, the ticket conditions for each leg are now independent of each other. Please find a summary of the fare types and conditions for each carrier, and additional information below.

Eurostar fares conditions

- Tickets are refundable for a fee (25€/£, $40) until D-7.
Eurostar Premier

Hotnat and AJC
As a member of the Railteam alliance, Eurostar gives customers the possibility to benefit from HOTNAT (Hop On The Next Available Train), and we’re also part of the the AJC (Agreement on Journey Continuation). This means if a customer’s connecting journey is affected by disruption en-route, they will be able to board the next available Eurostar or TGV free of charge. More information about these agreements can be found here .

Compensation
Where compensation is owed due a delayed connecting train, each operator is responsible for compensating passengers directly. If the Eurostar train is delayed or cancelled, customers can apply to us for compensation according to our compensation policy. To claim compensation on a connecting SNCF leg of a journey, customers should contact SNCF directly. More details on the SNCF policy can be found here.
