Terms & conditions
Find below our terms and conditions for group bookings of 10+ passengers, depending on the travel date and route.
On all Eurostar Routes
DEPOSITS
- A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total group booking value must be paid within 30 days after the booking has been created
- If no deposit is taken within 30 days after the booking has been made, the booking is cancelled.
- Bookings will expire 30 days before departure unless full payment is taken.
- Deposits are taken in the currency of the booking.
- If a client changes their booking before the deposit is paid, the deposit amount will be updated
BALANCE
- The full balance must be paid 30 days prior to the departure date
- If no balance is taken 30 days before departure the booking is cancelled and the deposit is non-refundable
- If a customer changes their booking after the deposit has been paid, but before the payment of the balance, the balance will be recalculated and updated
- If a customer changes their booking after the deposit has been paid, but before the payment of the balance, the date on which the balance is due will not change
- For bookings made less than 30 days before departure, the balance must be paid upon creation of the booking
AFTER-SALES CONDITIONS
Exchanges
- Tickets are fully exchangeable until 30 days before departure with no fee.
- Tickets are non-exchangeable thereafter.
Refunds
- Tickets are refundable up until 30 days before departure with a 20% fee.
- Tickets are refundable up until 8 days before departure with a 50% fee.
- Tickets are non refundable within 8 days
Processes
- Customers can exchange: date, time, one leg or the whole journey
- There are no fees for the exchange, but customers have to pay the fare difference between the original price and the price on the day. If the new fare is cheaper than the original, the fare difference will not be refunded
- The exchange is performed in the same PNR
- Eurostar can exchange a booking to a different travel class (from Eurostar Standard to Eurostar Plus or Eurostar Premier to Eurostar plus). Any fare difference is payable and there are no refunds for downgrades.
- Eurostar can authorise the refund of individual passengers if both legs of the journey are cancelled.
